They met in a whale. Thats right, an endangered, albino orca.

It was kind of hard not to notice each other, as they were the only two inside the whale at that time. Small talk lead to deep conversations and eventually they hatched a plan to escape their orca prison.

Using Chris's wit and Renee's intense upper body strength to distract and charm the mighty beast, they flash danced their way out of there.

Upon surfacing, Renee got Chris a job at a solar company because she thought he was a nice guy.

As co-workers, they tried and failed to deny their undeniable love for each other.

Fast forward to 2022, a single drop of sweat is about to drip off of Chris's nose as he's Mission-Impossible-style suspended from the ceiling of the Helzberg jewelry counter at the Glendale Galleria. "I think this is the one", he says to the alarmed saleswoman. How she was alarmed is still a topic of conversation. It was a Tuesday afternoon and his set up took a good part of the morning to complete. None the less, Chris is no thief, he paid more than they were asking for. And now, its time to go to Paris.

It's the 4th of July, and believe us when we say no one, we mean, NO ONE, cares about the 4th of July in France. Renee and Chris have been apprehended by the French police. Why? I guess they have some silly laws against lighting fireworks inside of the Louvre. Before they can be locked away, Chris says in a flawless French-accent, "Will you marry me?", and everyone stops. Time stops.

The cadets hold their breaths, waiting for Renee to respond. She says in a perfect American accent, "Oui".
